Elizabeth Willeford, founder of Elizabeth Blake Designs, has spent more than 25 years shaping beautiful, livable interiors. She began her career at a boutique interior design firm in Boston before returning to Houston to work alongside her mother, a prominent interior designer and furniture wholesaler.
Together, they traveled throughout Europe and Asia sourcing furniture and lighting to sell at wholesale trade shows, including High Point Market, the world’s largest home furnishings trade show. Over two decades in that partnership, Elizabeth gained a rare, deep understanding of both interior design and the furniture industry, from how pieces are made and sourced to how they come together in a finished room.
That experience is the foundation of her work today. Elizabeth believes beautiful interiors should be accessible to everyone, and she designs with that belief at the heart of every project. Working with clients remotely, wherever they live, she sources furnishings directly from retailers, develops a floor plan for each room, and gives every client a personalized roadmap showing exactly what to purchase and where to find it. The result is a thoughtfully curated room and a clear, confident plan for bringing it to life.
